We work with psychological indicators of trust, sociological indicators of social distance, and provide qualitative descriptions of factors influencing trust, including cultural and social backgrounds of employees and leadership.
Photoluminescence measurement PK-05-009
– time-integrated photoluminescence
– time-resolved photoluminescence
– spatially resolved photoluminescence (PL mapping)
Equipment: FLS1000 PL Spectrometer, confocal microscope
Preparation and characterization of recombinant hydrolases PK-22-005
Expression (in E. coli), purification and biochemical/biophysical characterization of recombinant hydrolases (e.g. chitinase, β-1,3-glucanase); includes identification of activity-modulating ligands and testing of enzyme effects on selected phytopathogens.
Equipment: E. coli expression system, FPLC, spectrophotometer, protein biophysical characterization
Preparation of assessments, monitoring, and reports in the social sciences PK-31-001
Preparation of assessments, reports, and monitoring based on data for various purposes, such as policy design, reforms, or solution proposals. Intended for municipalities, government institutions, and NGOs (e.g., collaboration with “Healthy Regions” – database of 400 marginalized settlements in Slovakia).
Preparation of MoOx and MoS₂ nanoparticles by liquid-phase exfoliation PK-05-001
The output consists of stable colloidal aqueous dispersions of MoOx or MoS₂ nanoparticles with narrow size distribution. Suitable for biomedical applications such as drug-free photothermal therapy or drug carriers.
Equipment: Bandolin Sonorex RK 510 H ultrasonic bath, Zetasizer Nano ZS, UV-Vis spectrophotometer
Production of audiovisual outputs based on social data PK-31-004
Creation of audiovisual content based on social science data for publication as audiovisual works, such as films or exhibitions.
Production of specialty carbohydrates PK-20-006
Production of rare sugars, intermediates, and enzymatic substrates from milligrams to kilograms for commercial purposes; applications in pharma and food industry.
Equipment: reverse osmosis, chromatographic columns, distillation systems, reactors, analytical QC lab
Protein purification PK-19-004
Production and purification of proteins from recombinant bacteria.
Equipment: FPLC, purification columns
Quality control of APIs PK-20-002

Equipment: HPLC with DAD, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, tablet hardness tester, Karl Fischer titrator, pH meter
Quantification of microbiota and antibiotic phenotype profiling of isolated bacterial strains PK-19-008
Microbiological analysis of biological samples (e.g., feces, food) using ISO-standard microbiological methods. Identification and quantification of bacterial genera and determination of antibiotic susceptibility profiles (resistant vs. sensitive). Intended primarily for animal production, but applicable also in human medicine.
Equipment: standard microbiology laboratory equipment
