Study of vector capacity and competence of blood-sucking ectoparasites to transmit parasites and microorganisms with zoonotic potential. Collaboration can include development of diagnostic, monitoring and control strategies, experimental infections, molecular analyses, and development of predictive models for disease risk under different climatic scenarios.
