Pursuant to the Principles of SAS and Act No. 435/2001 Coll. on Patents, Supplementary Protection Certificates, and Amendments to Certain Laws (Patent Act), The Technology Transfer Office of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (TTO SAS) facilitates the reporting of new intellectual property created by employees of SAS organizations.
If, in the course of your work, you develop new knowledge or a new solution that may qualify as intellectual property, you must officially notify your employer. For SAS organizations, intellectual property creation is reported via TTO SAS.
Notification is the first step toward potential legal protection of the intellectual property and its commercialization. TTO SAS manages the entire subsequent process for SAS organizations or provides support in its implementation.
