Research and development of high-performance ceramic materials, including silicon carbide, ultra-high-temperature ceramics based on borides and carbides, high-entropy ceramics and ceramic composites for extreme temperatures, oxidation, ablation and mechanical loading. Collaboration may include composition design, sintering optimisation, property characterisation and validation of materials for energy, aerospace, mechanical engineering and other demanding applications.
